Look to the Stars

Christmas is coming, and you know what that means, Christmas everything.

Music, trees, lots and lots of cookies, hot chocolate, fireplaces, cozy blankets, and of course the Christmas movies.

I don’t know about you, but I just love the cheesy Christmas romance movies. They are one of my favorite things about Christmas.

I guess it must be something about how the guy meets the girl, and they go out and live happily ever after. Yes, I love it! While all of that is great, Let us not forget what the ultimate reason for the season is, JESUS.

Yes of course! Jesus is what makes CHRISTmas.

For the Christmas story, he was born to a young woman who was a virgin, Mary was her name. She was betrothed to Joseph.

When the angel of the Lord told them that they were going to have a baby, they saddled up the donkey and traveled to Bethlehem, only to find out that there were no open rooms in the inn. Jesus was born in a stable wrapped in swaddling clothes. He slept in a manger.

When he was born, a Star that shone so bright, many could see it from afar. How can one not see something sparkly and want to know what it is.

Well that’s what the wise men did, they saw the star and traveled to find Baby Jesus and worship him for He is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Jesus came to save the world. Let us not forget that the Reason for the Season is Christ.

Have a Merry Christmas ya’ll!!

May your day Sparkle,
Sarah
