Life is a Gift

“I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made…” ~ Psalms 139:14a

Life is a Gift. I know there are lot of people who know first hand that life is a gift, and should not be taken for granted.

I know first hand that life is a gift and I didn’t realize this until recently.

My story is unique because God wrote it individually for me.

I was born in South China, and then left on the tax collector gate’s steps. My biological mother could
have aborted me, but she didn’t. She could have thrown me away like trash, but she didn’t.

Instead, my biological mother chose to put me where I would be found.

I was in the orphanage for 16 months. I could have gotten sick, but I know that since birth, God was there.

As I grew up, I was told, my biological mother made the difficult choice of leaving me so that way I could fulfill what God has called me to do.

He has a very special plan for your life.

It is unique to who you are and how He wired you to be.

God is here and He is present.

He is never-changing.

God will never leave nor forsake because He is our Father, and He loves us that much!

Each life is a gift.

Your life is a gift!

“You give life, you are love.”- Great are you Lord

Those are the lyrics that have been caught in my head because that song has a whole new meaning to me.

For the longest of time, I took life for granted. I didn’t realize the depth of God’s love for me until I heard that song.

Not only did He send His ONLY Son, but He continually shows us that He loves us unconditionally over and over again.

He shows us by giving life, with protection and with people.

Life is a gift.

No matter what storm your in.

No matter if your living in sin looking for a way out.

It doesn’t matter if your in the middle of nowhere or in the city, God is here and He is present.

God created you for a purpose.

Sometimes though, we have to ask what that purpose is.

Our expectations can’t come from man. Our expectations should come from God.

Man’s level of success is different that God’s expectations.

Question is, are you going to use the breath God gave you to endorse the Kingdom of Heaven?

May your day Sparkle,

Sarah

  1. Sarah, I am so grateful that your mother chose to place you in God’s care because look at how you are today! You may have been in the orphanage for 16 months but she was led to leave you where she did. Life is indeed a precious gift and Solomon told us that life is also a vapor. May God continue to bless you and you spread his word and your testimony abroad!
